Our Story

We want you to take your coffee personally, because we certainly do. As you might have guessed, coffee is not just a drink to us, it's a passion and a livelihood. And it's a livelihood extends beyond our walls, and even beyond our shores.

The personal connection comes in the form of our owner, Michael Trimble, who was born and raised in Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti. Michael's dream is to establish a plantation in his homeland in cooperation with the local community, to provide the best beans for coffee lovers everywhere, as well as fresh water and a living wage for many Haitians devastated by recent natural disasters.

Our beans are grown semi-wild in the mountains of Haiti, and are known for their strong, earthy flavor, and superb fragrance, balanced acidity, refined body and sweet overtones. We also use delicious Haitian vanilla, made with no fillers and famous for its powerful and pleasant flavor.
